- Do I have to be home when the housekeeper cleans my house?
95% of our clients are not at home when the housekeeper performs his or her duties. Clients can
hide a key, allow a neighbor who is home to unlock the door or make other arrangements with your local branch manager.
- What types of payment do you accept?
Dana's accepts cash, credit
cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and personal checks. If paying by check we will ask to have a credit
card on file but it will not be charged if you leave a check for the housekeeper.
- Should
I leave a list for the housekeeper?
YES! No one knows what you would like
done better than you. We ask that you make a detailed list, also known as a priority list with the items you
would like completed, in the order that you would like them performed. This list is customized by you for each visit.
- Do I provide the cleaning supplies?
You know best what you like used
in your home, so yes, we prefer to use your supplies. If you would like recommendations on what supplies to have on
hand for the housecleaner, please call your local branch.
- How often and when is service available?
Dana's refers housekeepers Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 8am-5pm. Some special
circumstances may allow for different times for servicing homes.
Usually clients
enjoy their home cleaned biweekly, so twice a month. However, having services weekly or monthly is not uncommon.
We are here to provide you with more free time and a clean home, so you determine how often we come to your home.
- What recourse do I have if I am not satisfied with the service?
Dana's Housekeeping Staff and housecleaners take pride in the work that they perform. If you are not
pleased with your service, please call the office immediately. We will be happy to fix it.
- Will I have the same housekeeper every service?
We try our hardest
to refer the same housekeeper on a regular basis. Please let your local office know when calling to schedule a follow
up service if you would like to request the same housekeeper as your previous visits.
How many hours of service do I need?
Depending on your list of priorities (the list that you create) and on the square footage of your home, your local
office can assist you in determining the amount of time to schedule.
**Hint: It is best to schedule
more time and have your charges pro-rated than to not schedule enough time to get the full list you created completed.
